For years I travelled the world searching for something I could never quite name. Love. Belonging. A sense of being home in myself. I moved from country to country, always feeling the pull to leave and the pull to return, never understanding that the thing I was searching for had nothing to do with where I was.
I was the recurring theme in every chapter of my life. And I wasn't ready to see it.
It took two mirrors to finally stop me.
My sister Claire dying of liver failure in a hospital bed. And my own face, cut and bleeding, staring back at me from a mirror in Japan after a night I couldn't remember.
The same wound. The same numbing. The same loneliness.
That was the beginning of the real journey. Not another country. Not another fresh start. Inward, for the first time.
What followed was years of honest, humbling, life changing work. Breathwork. Plant medicine. Health coaching. Presence practice. Slowly learning to feel again, to forgive, to love myself not because of what I had achieved but because of who I was.
Today I walk alongside others on that same road. Not from a textbook or a training room but from the lived experience of what it truly means to lose yourself and find your way back.
I know the terrain. I know how dark it gets. And I know beyond any doubt that reconnection is possible.
Because if I found my way home, so can you.
